These resources originated in South America, where the church is growing dynamically, and are based on the principles learned there. Making use of this “Bible Encounter Groups” method, they provide ministers, leaders, and members of local churches, with effective tools for evangelism, discipleship, teaching and pastoring. The resources aim to be BIBLICAL, REFLECTIVE, APPLICABLE, CONTEXTUAL AND EFFECTIVE.

They offer practical material for

• preparing for, leading and then evaluating such a group.

• sharing the gospel in community.

• nurturing new Christians through Bible Encounter Groups.

• home groups for Bible study and fellowship.

• helping local churches to train people who could then themselves run a Bible Encounter Group.

The Bible Encounter Resources are flexible and are not designed to be worked through consecutively. The Studies could be chosen according to the specific needs of the group and its members, and may be used in any convenient order.
